I feel like a
hypocrite; let me explain. I see Christmas things now being blended with Halloween and I think isn’t there
a holiday between the two called Thanksgiving?
I started seeing Christmas objects in stores starting September . I said
the expected isn’t it a bit early? However in my heart I was jumping for joy! I
love Christmas, I love what the season implies and how everyone responds.
Over
the last few Christmases we have started to go more and more handmade. I have
learned through past experiences that the earlier you start the better chance
you have of a “stress free” Christmas. {A girl can dream, right?} I usually
start in July. {I saw that eye roll}
Since we were moving in July I am getting a super late start.
I usually start with a Christmas
notebook this is a way for me to be “organized” {for like a month}. It has all
my to do list, Christmas present tracker, Calendar, shopping list and so on. I
make mine out of a composition notebook although I know that if you google “Christmas
Notebook” there are a million free printablse out there. {I might do this next
year}
So before I show you all this year’s model I thought I would
like to show you my past. {This is from 2008 I somehow do not have any pictures
of my notebook from the last two years. }
This is this years.
I love this paper! I am so happy I get to look at it until
after Christmas. This year I added a Calendar and the list tabs. While pintresting
I found another notebook similar to mine on eighteen25 and I liked the idea of
it so I added it. I also added envelopes for coupons and receipts {another idea
I borrowed from eighteen25}
