One stitch at a time

So as I had mention in my previous post I really like the idea of a homemade Christmas. In order to fulfill this desire I have already started. I haven’t embroider anything in years , and somewhere in my brain I decide I wanted to do it this year as a quick gift. I pulled out my sketch book went on line to find some inspiration and this is what I came up.

My  dad is a hippie Christmas lover.  When I think about him I always imagine him loving VW busses. {No idea why he has never owned one, I am sure he will some day.} He also loves Christmas and not in a settle way like in the obsessive kinda way. {which he may have passed on to me. Score!}  This is what I came up. LOVE IT!
This little flower idea came from President Uchtdorf’s talk on the forget me not. {If you have not read it then you are missing out, it is one of my favs!} You can read it here. It is also perfect for my grandma.

Last but not least is this little elf. I made her for me. I drew  her  my notebook and I wanted to make her so bad! So I did and she came out just lovely. I think I might make her into  a pillow.
Are you working on anything right now?
